Traditional Pleasures of the Season in Daytona Beach

Daytona Beach RV Resort lies in an area that offers some of the most favored seasonal traditions. These include opportunities to hear Christmas music, tour decorated homes and shop at a holiday market.

Handel’s Messiah

For centuries, people from across the country and around the world have derived joy from attending Handel’s Messiah at Christmastime. On December 4, the Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Performing Arts Center will present this masterpiece that puts Scriptures of the birth of Christ to majestically beautiful music. It is arguably one of the most moving and brilliant musical scores ever composed. The performance starts at 4 p.m.

Annual Tour of Homes

Another popular activity during this time of year involves touring homes that are decorated for the holidays. This pleasure can be yours on December 10 at Ormond Beach, which is about 30 miles away. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the location is 42 N. Beach Street.

Coastal Christmas Market

On November 28, the Coastal Christmas Market will be held at the Historic Canal Street District in nearby Smyrna Beach. Local artisans will display holiday décor and handmade gifts, and an array of activities will be offered for children. The event also includes live entertainment and food. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Join us at our Daytona Beach RV park as we partake of Thanksgiving dinner together. Every Friday, we have happy hour, which is a good time to relax and get to know the other residents better.
