You still have another month in the season to plan a trip to Woodland Lake RV Resort, and October is perhaps the best time of all for a stay. You can engage in outdoor activities in the cool fall air as well as visit nearby Stratford. While it is a theater town, its multifaceted attractions include museums and much more.

Stratford Perth Museum

A small, intimate depository, the Stratford Perth Museum is an attraction that has received excellent reviews. A quilt display, one of the current exhibits, reveals the impressive artistry involved in this time-honored craft. You can also see costumes and props from the Lion, Witch and Wardrobe as well as local military history artifacts and an old time printing press. The museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through October 31. Tickets are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and $5 for children under 12.

Gallery Stratford

Beautifully curated, the Gallery Stratford is a combination of a museum and art gallery. Its setting in a lush garden beckons passersby to visit. You’ll find an array of interesting exhibits that even include a handcrafted jewelry selection. The gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday through Sunday.
