The Victorian Splendor of Cape May awaits your exploration when you stay at Driftwood RV Resort & Campground. All the nearby attractions will ensure your vacation is filled with fond memories.
Cape May has one of the country’s largest collection of Victorian homes. In fact, the entire city was declared a National Historic District in 1976. Anyone who loves this type of architecture will drool over the domes, gables, towers and arched windows that create whimsical streetscapes around the town. You can tour the area by bike or on foot by following the Cape May Bike Tour booklet published by Cape May’s Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities on Washington Street. The cost of the booklet is $5.
Cape May Lighthouse
Since 1859, the Cape May Lighthouse has been sending beams of light out on the ocean to guide mariners to a safe harbor. You can choose to climb to the top or stay on the ground floor and browse through the Museum Shop and Visitor’s Orientation Center. If you’re up to the climb, it will offer a beautiful view of water and dunes, as well as many varieties of birds such as eagles, falcons and swans.
Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 3 through 12. The address is 215 Lighthouse Avenue.
