The weather is warm and the days are sunny year round in South Florida, so it’s no wonder many find it the perfect place to call home. Every year the Snowbirds descend from the north, and for most RVers, their destination is Marco Naples Sun RV Resort, in Naples. If you are not convinced this RV park is for you, check out their Facebook page, or give them a call and after a few minutes on the phone with Park Manager Kim Hamilton, you’ll be assured Marco Naples is your first choice for your new winter home.

Activities to Keep You Active

As with other resorts, you’ll find shuffleboard, bocci, horseshoes, crafts, poker, and the other usual social pursuits. The staff at Marco Naples ups the ante to assure residents and guests are well satisfied. Just a few examples are included here. Rather than coffee and donuts to welcome back guests, the resort plans a Welcome Back Snowbirds Dance on Nov. 8th. The popular Daryl Lane returns November 21st to provide the tunes on the stage from 6 - 9pm. To celebrate Thanksgiving join your friends and neighbors for the Harvest Dance on November 22nd. Movie night was initiated this summer with a great response and the popcorn machine was a big hit. Right away plans were made to get a larger, movie theater size, popcorn maker! They have a Tiki Hut! Pool parties are so much cooler when you enjoy your favorite beverage poolside by the Tiki Hut. How about a cruise? Yep, they have one every year. Join the Sun Cruise to the Western Caribbean on Jan 31st - Feb. 7th, 2105, aboard the Vision of the Sea. To keep up the pace requires good stamina, and the exercise program initiated last year is a popular activity. They average 60 or so hearty souls at the morning workout, and quite a few men are right out there stretching the muscles along with ladies.

Park Improvements

In the off-season many upgrades have been completed, or are in progress. Several old mobile homes were removed and 20 broken pad sites were hauled out and new pads installed. The electrical system project has started with some of the upgrades and new electric lines have been installed through some of the park, along with road improvements including new curbs for the roads. The pond has been re-constructed and enlarged, along with a new drainage system. To improve water flow out of the park, the canal was cleaned, widened, and berms rebuilt. All these improvements are a result of planning and designing a better park for our guests. Staff at Marco Naples welcome residents and guests to discuss events, needs, and future planning at monthly RV Park Meetings, held every 3rd Thursday beginning in November.

Welcome to Naples

While Naples, Florida may be best known for its golf, with more than 35 courses, the beaches are also a big attraction. Take a walk along the pristine white-sand shoreline of the Gulf of Mexico. With your toes in the sand and gentle waves lapping at your feet, you’ll experience a tropical wilderness among the mangroves with The Everglades in the background. Adventurous souls can rent kayaks or canoes to explore the inland waterways, or join guided eco-tours and swamp buggy excursions. Fishing and boating options are available from The Pier, a Naples landmark, where visitors experience dolphins, pelicans, and incredible sunsets.

Marco Naples RV Resort is just 10 minutes from the beaches and warm gulf waters. The property sits on 23 acres of lush landscape and backs against the wetlands of Rookery Bay. Our 305 pull-thru full hookup sites feature 30-amp service with extra parking and storage. For reservations book now to guarantee an RV site for your winter stay.
