Come to Treetops RV Resort, where 2,000 oak trees will provide a shady retreat for your DFW vacation. Fall is a good time to make the trip because the football season of the Dallas Cowboys is in full swing. You can also visit attractions such as the Planetarium and River Legacy Park.

The fascinating wonders of our universe are showcased in the Planetarium at the University of Texas in Arlington. It’s a great attraction for children or teenagers, as well as any adult who is excited by science. The shows are educational and entertaining, and the technology makes viewers feel that they are actually journeying through space. You’ll find it at 700 Planetarium Place.

River Legacy Park

Another excellent destination for a family outing, the River Legacy Park is a beautiful wilderness that offers exposure to nature amid a bustling metroplex. Visitors can walk or bike along forest trails, paddle a canoe through the river and have a picnic in the pavilions. If you walk quietly or sit still for a while, many small animals can be seen going about their business.

The main entrance is at 703 NW Green Oaks Boulevard Cooper Street, and the Collins Street entrance is at 3020 N. Collins Street in Arlington.

Our DFW RV park is a good home-base for a vacation because it’s close to golf courses, lakes and a movie theater. A shopping mall and hundreds of restaurants are also nearby.
