New Year’s Eve in San Antonio

A poll published in the magazine Travel & Leisure ranks San Antonio as the 7th best city in the country for New Year’s Eve celebrations. A stay at Travelers World RV Resort will give you convenient access to all the festivities.

The party begins at 5 p.m. on Alamo St. between Market and Cesar Chavez in the downtown area. It will include live music on three stages and food as well as carnival rides and games. A fantastic fireworks extravaganza will ring in 2017. The event is free to the public.

Valero Alamo Bowl

Relaxing with a great football game is another New Year’s tradition for many. On January 29, the Valero Alamo Bowl will be held at the Alamodome. You can watch the top college football teams from the Pac-12 and Big 12 conferences play. The game starts at 8 p.m., and the address is 100 Montana Street.

Ford Holiday Boat Caroling

Between now and December 18, you can enjoy the beauty of Christmas music on the Riverwalk. Each night at the Holiday Caroling, five boats will carry group that give live performances.
