While Gulliver’s Lake RV Resort is in full occupancy with seasonal campers, it’s open to day traffic. In fact, the park is one of the most popular spots for picnics, diving and triathlon training. Come revitalize through spending time near the beautiful waters of a spring-fed lake.
Residents of the park can enjoy something special next month. Mark your calendar for August 18 to 21, when the Cactus Festival will be held in nearby Dundas. The event, now celebrating its 41st anniversary, attracts visitors from across Canada. A parade will kick off the festivity on Thursday night, and highlights of the weekend will include live entertainment, a street sale and a baby contest. In addition, a family fun zone will be available that includes face painting, train rides and kid shows.
Village Fish and Chips
An old-fashioned delight, the Village Fish and Chips is the top-rated restaurant in the area. Have a meal here when you’re in the mood for mouthwatering battered fish, crispy fries and creamy coleslaw. The food is simply the best.
The country premier amusement park, Canada Wonderland is an hour’s drive away in Vaughan. This attraction offers 69 rides, 200 attractions, a water park and live shows. A huge variety of eateries offering snacks and meals are scattered around the park. Your visit here will surely prove to be a most enjoyable adventure.
