Imagine waking up to views of palm trees and the Santa Rosa Mountains every day! Indian Wells RV Resort offers travelers a retreat from winter’s chill in a beautiful part of the country. Here are two of the local attractions.

Palm Springs Aerial Tramway

For a thrilling ride full of spectacular vistas, take the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway up to the wilderness of Mt. San Jacinto State Park. Upon your arrival at the Mountain Station, you can tour the natural history museum, hike the nature trails and visit the gift shop. In addition, plan to have a picnic lunch in the lovely setting or eat in one of the two restaurants.

The trams start running at 8 a.m. on weekends and at 10 a.m. on Mondays through Fridays. They run until 9:45 p.m.

Admission is $25.95 for adults, $23.95 for seniors and $16.95 for ages 3 to 10. The address is 1 Tram Way, Palm Springs.

Palm Springs Air Museum

One of the top aviation depositories in the country, the Palm Springs Air Museum contains 59 planes, including some from WWII and the Korean/Vietnam Wars. The eras will come to life through interesting stories told by engaging volunteers, many of whom were formerly in the military. Visitors can even book a ride on one of the vintage warbirds.

Admission is $17 for adults, $15 for seniors and teenagers, and $10 for children ages 6 to 12. The address is 745 N Gene Autry Trl, Palm Springs.

Indian Wells

When you stay at our Palm Springs RV park, you can play mini golf, billiards and shuffleboard onsite, as well as engage in golf, tennis and hiking in the community. On weekends, the local open-air markets are fun places to shop for California dates and other fresh produce.

Please see our special offers. To make reservations at Indian Wells RV Park, call (760) 347-0895 or e-mail indianwells@suncommunities.com. Our address is 47-340 Jefferson Street in Indio, California.
