Celebrate our nation’s birth in Dallas, so you can enjoy the city’s patriotic concerts, dazzling fireworks displays and other events. A stay at Sandy Lake RV Resort, located in the heart of the metroplex, will make it easy to get to all the festivities.

Patriotic Salute

On June 30, grab a lawn chair or blanket and head over to Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm in Allen to attend a concert by the Allen Philharmonic Winds. The hours are from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and admission is free.

4th of July Weekend at Dallas Arboretum

You won’t find a better place for a picnic lunch than the Dallas Arboretum on July 1 to July 4. Each day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., a band will provide entertainment in the lovely garden setting. Admission starts at $15.

Liberty at the Lake

The nearby town called The Colony provides another option for July 1. Stewart Creek Park will be the scene of Liberty at the Lake, which will include music, a watermelon-eating contest and a parade, as well as kids’ activities and fireworks. Hours are from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., and admission is free.
