LBJ Presidential Library & Museum
The LBJ Presidential Library offers an inspiring look back in time when important civil rights were established. Any historical or political buff will find it most interesting to tour this depository that showcases the life, accomplishments and legacy of President Johnson. If you were alive during this eventful era, you’ll especially enjoy it.
Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors and $3 for youth aged 13 to 17. It’s open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The address is 2313 Red River Street.
Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum
Another must-see attraction for history enthusiasts, the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum provides an interactive way to learn all about the state. It also has a beautiful mural, cafeteria, gift shop and IMAX theater. The exhibits show the different cultures and foods in Texas, as well as chronical key happenings that span the early days of the republic to the present day.
Admission is $13 for adults, $11 for seniors and $9 for youth aged 4 to 17. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday through Saturday. The address is 1800 Congress Avenue.
Austin Lone Star RV Resort
