It’s that time of year again. At Marco Naples Sun RV Resort its the holiday season and excitement is in the air. Park Manager Kim Hamilton and her team are simply thrilled about all the events they are working on for resort guests. And the Rec Committee and the Sun Volunteers are hard at work planning dinners, dances and parties. It’s a good thing the holidays rolled around just when our guests showed up.
“Laissez les bons temps rouler”
Holidays at Marco Naples begin with music for the season and you know the Gator Bait Band will “put on the dog” at the Christmas Concert on Friday Dec. 12th. Get yourself in the holiday mood down at the stage from 5 - 6:30, where pizza will be available and the good times will roll. The next Friday, Dec 19th, you will be dazzled at the Winter Wonderland. Come out and see what they have in store for you. All I can tell you is Daryl Lane will provide the music. The Sun Brunch is back and you remember how much food and fun you had last year. (I saw it on Facebook.) Christmas Dinner will be served by the Rec Committee and they are already working on it. Over 300 meals were served on Thanksgiving Day, so you know they are ready to bring their finest to the table for you. New Years is right around the corner, so make plans now to attend the New Years Eve party. DJ Rick will do the hits from 9pm to 12:30am. The party doesn’t end there. Go home, take a nap, and get back out for the New Years Day Dinner at 6pm followed by the New Years Day Dance from 7-10pm.
Join us as we stay in shape for all the fun and frolic with our Let’s Get Moving Exercise Classes and line dancing classes. We enjoy the holidays and maybe put on a few pounds, so we want to make it fun working off all those holiday goodies. Also, we like to relax a little so come share some down time with friends at our monthly movies. This Sunday, Dec. 7th, is movie night, followed by a French Flick on Monday the 22nd.
