San Antonio is a hot spot for a vacation because it has so many things to see and do. Come stay at Travelers World RV Resort, so you can visit the attractions of this great city of the Southwest.

The Alamo

While Texas lost the battle at The Alamo, it led to a series of events that culminated in the end of Mexican control over the area. For this reason, it played a pivotal role in the history of the state. A tour through the mission will reveal why its story has captivated people for generations.

You can choose from a guided or an audio tour, and both are informative and lively. Admission is $15 for the guided and $7 for the audio. The address is 300 Alamo Plaza.

Pica Pica Plaza

Anyone who loves to shop will delight in the Pica Pica Plaza, which offers one-of-kind items. You can find stores that have almost everything here, including a great music shop that sells oldies. The plaza is inspired by markets in Latin America, so it hosts dances and provides entertainment by mariachi bands. It also has a large food court, as well as a play area for children that includes trampolines, dodgeball court, arcade and kid zone.

Hours are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Tuesday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday. The address is 910 SE Military Drive.
