Residents of Spanish Main RV Resort are very close to Flatwoods Wilderness Park, a welcome respite from the bustling metro area of Tampa. The mild February climate is an ideal time for hiking, bicycling or bird watching along the trails that wind throughout the lush greenery of the park. Picnic tables and shelters are also available, so you may want to pack a lunch to enjoy in the outdoors.

Every weekend between now and April 7, MOSI will host the Bay Area Renaissance Festival, a gala event that will involve 12 stages of entertainment, food and fun. Attracting more than 80,000 visitors annually, the festivity involves a different theme every weekend, each full of distinctive delights of various parts of the world, including Scotland, Ireland and Spain.

The theme for March 2 and 3 is Highland Fling, which will feature a Celtic Village, highland dancers and a Jig for Your Supper, as well as a Meatball Eating Contest and Cabbage Toss. Other activities will include highland games and the Men in Kilts Competition.

Come see us soon at Spanish Main RV Resort. The nearby community provides wonderful entertainment.
