Only 10 minutes from the excitement of Atlantic City, Shady Pines RV Resort is tucked away in a peaceful spot near two wildlife refuges. Most people who vacation here love visiting the boardwalk and historic lighthouse.

Atlantic City Boardwalk

The famous Atlantic City Boardwalk is a great place to stroll or sit at a table and engage in people watching while enjoying the view. Music always plays in the summertime, an aspect that adds to the pleasant experience. It’s fun to drop into the souvenir shops to pick out a memento of the trip, as well as dine in one of the countless eateries and visit attractions like Ripley’s Museum. The nightlife is vibrant, offering shows with big-name entertainment.

Absecon Lighthouse

New Jersey’s tallest lighthouse, the Absecon provides breathtaking views of the shore and city skyline. The structure built in 1854 has been lovingly restored in recent years, and visitors can climb the 228 steps to the top and learn about its history. The ascent has landings every 30 steps, so anyone who is fairly fit shouldn’t have any trouble. Admission is $7. The address is 31 S Rhode Island Avenue.
