Pleasant Lake RV Resort lies in Bradenton, a city on Florida’s Gulf Coast that has many delights. We recommend exploring the beautiful Riverwalk and stopping at the downtown markets.

Riverwalk

The Riverwalk is a 1.5-mile park overlooking the Manatee River. It has “outdoor living rooms,” which are shaded areas with comfortable seating. You can bring a picnic lunch, relax and enjoy the nice breezes. It’s close to historic Old Main Street and the South Florida Museum, so you may want to combine some sightseeing with your stroll. If you venture off the walkway, you’ll also see lovely colonial houses.

Farmers’ Market

Every Saturday, except during the summer, a farmers’ market is held on Old Main Street. While musicians play in the background, you can watch demonstrations by local chefs and browse through art, fresh produce and prepared foods. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Mainly Art

On the third Saturday of the month, you can attend Mainly Art, an event where dozens of local artisans and artists display they work. It connects to the weekly farmers' market and also includes live music and food. The hours are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
