No stay at Gulliver’s Lake RV Resort would be complete without visiting the falls in Hamilton. Because the city has more than 100 of them, it has been called the waterfall capital of the world. Although the local falls aren’t as large as those in Niagara Falls, they offer a different experience – solitude and tranquility. The most popular and the widest is Webster Falls, located in the Spencer George Conservation Area. As the views of this beautiful natural phenomenon change with the seasons, you’ll want to visit them again and again.
Rockton World’s Fair
On October 6 to 10, the Rockton World’s Fair will be held at the city's fairgrounds. The event offers a mega-dose of fun for the young as well as the young at heart. Visitors will find rides suitable for small children like a carousel and chu-chu train, along with rides for teenagers like the Ferris wheel. In addition, fairgoers can browse through displays that involve home crafts, blacksmithing and agricultural animals. Things to do even include taking a helicopter ride over the Great Lakes. The fair provides a good opportunity for families to spend some quality time together.
