Woodland Lake RV park lies in Stratford, arguably one of the most interesting cities in Canada. It is home to a famous theater company, Victorian architecture and achingly lovely landscapes. Exploring the town will be most rewarding.
Good times await you in the park as well. Aside from swimming, fishing, hiking and biking amid a setting of forests, beaches and a lake, you can attend socials all summer. You won’t want to miss multicultural night on June 25, a fun meal where everyone brings food from a different ethnicity. Mark your calendar for July 1 and 2, when we will have Christmas in July with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Clause. Other events coming up include a children’s chocolate bar bingo, casino night, site decorating contest and beach party.
Recognized around the world for its Shakespeare plays, the Stratford Festival attracts flocks of theater-goers every year from April to October. In addition to the incomparable works of Shakespeare, it offers an array of contemporary plays. This year’s theatrical productions include Macbeth, As You Like It, Shakespeare in Love, All My Sons, A Little Night Music, Breath of Kings, A Chorus Line and the Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe.
A café is available at the festival, but you can also preorder a picnic meal from the box office. Choices include poached salmon, slow-roasted chicken supreme or wraps.
