Homosassa River RV Resort offers a respite from winter’s ice and snow, as well as the noise and stress that are often associated with a large city. Come get away from it all and enjoy pursuits like hiking in the Wildlife Park and shopping at a huge flea market.

Homosassa Wildlife Park

The Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park is a beautiful destination for birdwatching, hiking, picnicking and engaging in nature study. It showcases an array of native Florida animals such as alligators, white-tailed deer and bears; and wildlife encounter programs are offered at various times during the day. A highlight of the area is an underwater observatory that permits year-round views of manatees.

You’ll find a snack bar and restaurant onsite. The address is 4150 S Suncoast Boulevard in Homosassa Springs.

Howard’s Flea Market

Flea markets provide adventure shopping because you just never know what fabulous finds you’ll come across. Howard’s is the largest in Citrus County, as it covers 55 acres. Vendors sell merchandise that includes antiques, jewelry, pet supplies, clothing, books, crafts and much more. The parking is free, the people are nice and you’re sure to find some jim-dandy treasures.

Dealers prefer to be paid in cash rather than through a debit card. Hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday and from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The address is 6373 S Suncoast Boulevard in Homosassa.

Homosassa River

Our Crystal River RV park is a scenic spot for fishing. Residents also like to play shuffleboard, horseshoes, bocce ball, billiards and bingo.

Please see our special offer. If you have any questions about our rates or amenities, give us a call at (352) 628-2928, or send an email to homosassariver@suncommunities.com. The address is 10200 West Fishbowl Drive in Homosassa, FL.
