Prince Edward County Music Festival

Classic music devotees will love attending the Prince Edward County Music Festival on September 15 to 24. Celebrating its 14th season, the event’s focus is on western classical chamber music that features the finest of Canadian musicians.

While admission is charged for most of the concerts, a free performance by the Hannaford Street Silver Band will be held at Macauley Heritage Park at 2 p.m. on September 16. Donations are appreciated.

Ticket prices for the other concerts are $35 for adults, $15 for students and $5 for youth 18 and under. A five-ticket flex-pass is $161.

The venue is the St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church at 335 Main Street in Picton.

Antique Fall Show

On September 15 to 17, the Crystal Palace Fairgrounds will be the scene of the Antique Fall Show. It will have dealers specializing in furniture, glassware, collectibles, textiles, toys and pottery.

Hours are 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The address is 375 Main Street in Picton.
