Come one, come all to Pickerel Park RV Resort, where you’ll find many things to enjoy. You can engage in terrific fishing and participate in our planned activities, as well as attend local celebrations. Festivities scheduled for the coming weeks include Canada Day, the Greater Napanee Riverfront Festival, and something extra special – the Irish Gaelic Festival.

Greater Napanee Riverfront Festival

The 3rd annual Greater Napanee Riverfront Festival will be held June 10 through June 12 at Conservation Park. This family-friendly event will have something for everyone. You can watch or participate in kayak races or paddleboarding along with dance, listen to music and browse in the Hometown Market. Children’s activities will also be available.

A part of the festival, Art in the Park is scheduled for June 11. It will involve exhibits of several types of media, and artists will conduct demonstrations throughout the day.

Irish Gaelic Festival

Make plans to attend the Irish Gaelic Festival on June 25 in Tamworth, which is the only officially designated Irish-speaking village in the world outside of Ireland. World-class performers will entertain in this celebration of traditional and contemporary Gaelic culture. You can expect an authentic experience through sean-nós dancing, sean-nós singing, set dancing, uilleann pipes, harp, céilí bands, oration, storytelling and literature. Anyone with even a drop of Irish blood won’t want to miss this gala. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students and free for children under 12.
