Stratford Heritage Weekend Commemorates End of World War II

Capture the essence of the time while visiting an exhibit of Anne Frank’s story at the Stratford Perth Museum and a theater production of The Diary of Anne Frank. Other opportunities allow you to view some of Stratford’s finest landmarks and share our WWII stories, including Perth County War Brides at City Hall and production for the Mosquito bombers. View war memorabilia as you tour historical sites, two private post-war homes, an historic church, and Avondale Cemetery war graves.

Party With Woodland Lake at the Barn Dance

Woodland Lake RV Resort has plenty of activities planned to end the year with a bang. Halloween will be celebrated on August 9th with several events for kids of all ages. The fun begins at noon with the Hot Dog and Corn Roast at the Rec Hall. Have lots of candy ready for the kids when they Trick or Treat through the park from 6-7:30 pm. Costume judging will begin at 8pm. When it's nice and dark the ghosts and goblins will be out and what better way to experience the thrills of the night than The Ghost Ride.

Karaoke night is August 23rd and everyone's invited and get ready to kick up your heels and do some boot scootin' at the Bar Dance on August 30th.
