You hear a lot of fish stories at Sun’s Pickerel Park. You hear stories about the big one that just got away. And you hear stories about that big ole’ Walleye that practically jumped into the boat and from the boat into the frying pan or onto the barbeque. Where it was still so fresh it sauced itself.
Fishing is great this Spring and anglers are getting lots of practice for the Adult Fishing Derby. Seasonal campers will compete on Saturday, June 27th from 8am - 2pm. Later that evening “Picket Fences” will play for the Saturday Dance from 7-11pm. July 4th is a big day with the Kids Fishing Derby from 9am to 11am and the Canada Day Parade.
