See You Next May

It’s been a glorious season at Hidden Valley RV Resort, and we bid everyone a fond farewell. Our park will close on October 31, but we invite campers to plan an Ontario camping trip next May to enjoy fishing, boating and hiking. The beautiful setting on the shores of Lake Erie and our planned activities, such as karaoke nights and carriage rides, make the area a great destination for a family vacation.

Come to the Fair

Hidden Valley RV Resort is an easy drive to Simcoe, where the Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show will be held on October 4 to 10. More than 100,000 visitors make the trek to the Norfolk Fairgrounds each year to enjoy the competitions, agricultural displays and craft exhibits as well as the midway rides, entertainment and food.

Nature Hikes and Bird Watching Along Lake Erie’s Gold Coast

Norfolk County is home to many trails through many natural habitats. One is located in Turkey Point, near Hidden Valley Resort. This trail is a gateway to the Long Point World Biosphere, a collection of diverse ecosystems and habitats supporting a wide variety of flora and fauna. Resort guests frequent these woodlands, sand dunes and marshes in search of migrating birds, butterflies, mammals and reptiles.

Dance Bands to Boogie The Summer Away

Fun summer activities keep the families and kids busy at Hidden Valley RV Resort. The Traveling Beer Bellies are scheduled for Saturday August 2nd and you don't want to miss it. Labour Day weekend is busy starting Saturday August 30 with a Horseshoe Tournament in the morning and the band IN2U playing from 8 - 11pm.

Whether you go for the scenery, the farmers markets, or a tour of the wineries, guests like to travel the surrounding farm country in Norfolk County.
