The Dade City Spring Antique Faire is back and Grove Ridge Sun RV Resort residents are happy as it’s a just a short drive to downtown. This is the third year for the “revived” faire where antique vendors are spread throughout the downtown area, with local dealers setting up sales in front of their stores. There also will be an arts and crafts fair at Dade City Commons for vendors selling wares that are not strictly antiques. The Spring Antique Faire will be from 8am to 5pm on Saturday, April 11th, and 9am to 3pm on Sunday, April 12th.
During the winter months we’re always looking for something to do around the area to get us out of the house. Fortunately, living in Florida, the weather is usually sunny and so much warmer so there are plenty of outdoor options. Let’s try something different this time. “Welcome to the Brooksville Raid.” That’s the name of the Hernando Historical Museum’s 35th annual re-enactment of a Civil War battle that happened 151 years ago.
