Citrus Hill Sun RV Resort is nestled between orange groves, and you’re in luck. Oranges are in season through January. So maybe it’s time to visit an orange grove and buy fresh from the grower, or possibly pick you own. Hancock Groves Store is located in Dade City, just off I-75 on Blanton Rd. This a great place to purchase “some of the best oranges in Florida” at good prices. They grow over 12 varieties of oranges. If you’d like to pick your own, call ahead and find out if You-Pick oranges is open; one of the few groves in the state that still allows it. They also carry lemons, peaches, strawberries, and the local celebrity fruit, “Dade City Kumquats.” The Hancock family is happy to meet with visitors at their family farm, so stop by and say hello.
